August 10th parlay play of the day

Aug 10, 2021

Parlay

First Leg – 8:10 p.m. ET

Double double-down time… sort of. We’ll start by grabbing the Astros to win, given the line movement in their favor and their track record of winning shootouts, like we expect this game to be.

We’ll finish it off with the Giants to win regardless of final score; again, elite teams should win games like this pretty regularly and this is a safe spot to prove that.

Pick: Astros and Giants Moneyline Parlay (+120)*

Prop

Colorado Rockies @ Houston Astros – 8:10 p.m. ET

Houston’s hitters rarely strike out: The Astros’ 853 are a league low, and 14 fewer than the next closest team with two games in hand. Rockies starter Jon Gray shows a 8.2 K/9, which isn’t terrible, but also isn’t going to turn any heads. Expect Gray to stay under this relatively high number.

Pick: Jon Gray Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-135)*

Bold Bet

Washington Nationals @ New York Mets – 7:10 p.m. ET

Another year, another Mets team plagued by injuries. With Javier Baez (hip) and Francisco Lindor (oblique) likely out, New York finds itself in danger of losing a fifth straight game. Speaking of injuries, the Nationals may get Juan Soto (knee) back in the lineup, making them a live dog that also just so happens to be getting the line movement.

Pick: Nationals +190

Hope you are excited about the 2021 NFL season like we are.
