SIT news has confirmed that former NBA Star Kobe Bryant has died in an helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. Kobe was onboard with at least 3 other people when a fire reportedly broke out on board his personal Sikorsky S-76 chopper.
Some eye witnesses of the crash reported hearing the engine sputter as the helicopter was letting off smoke and beginning to descend quickly. Kobe would commonly take his personal helicopter to games at the Staple Center when he played there for the LA Lakers, and he still routinely would use it to travel around the California area.
Kobe Bryant leaves behind his wife Vanessa, and their four daughters — Natalia, Gianna, and Bianca and their newborn baby, Capri.
