  • Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants

The Cowboys are coming fresh off a bye, looking to hold their lead in the NFC East. After the Eagles’ victory over the Bears on Sunday, the Cowboys have to beat the Giants. Considering the betting trends, they shouldn’t break too much sweat.

The Cowboys have owned the Giants over the last few years. They are 5-0 SU and ATS in the last five meetings with the Giants. Back in Week 1, the Cowboys thrashed off the Giants 35-17 as 7-point favorites. Dak Prescott tossed for 405 yards and four touchdowns.

Eli Manning led the Giants in Week 1, throwing for 306 yards and a TD. Now, rookie Daniel Jones will be under center. However, the Giants are riding a four-game losing streak. Their defense looked terrible over that span, allowing 27 or more points in each of those four contests.

The Giants are 3-9 SU and 2-9-1 ATS in their last 12 outings at home. With so many flaws in their game, especially on the defensive end, I have to go with the Cowboys to improve to 5-3 SU and ATS.

  • Dallas Cowboys -6.5 at -110

FREE NHL BETTING PICK OF THE DAY

  • Nashville Predators vs. Detroit Red Wings

Only four games are on tonight’s schedule in the National Hockey League. I don’t feel comfortable with any of those four matchups, but picking the struggling Red Wings to win could bring some nice wages. The NHL is pretty unpredictable and upsets are an ordinary thing.

The Red Wings won only one of their last 11 games overall. They outlasted the Edmonton Oilers 3-1 at home last week. At this moment, the Oilers are topping the Pacific Division with 21 points (10-4-1). They earned three points more than the Nashville Predators (8-4-2).

On the other side, the Predators lost two straight games to Calgary 6-5 and New York Rangers 2-1. They blew a three-goal lead against the Flames which obviously affected their confidence, so they also lost to the Rangers.

Another interesting fact about this matchup is the betting trends. The Red Wings are 10-1 in their last 11 meetings with the Predators and 6-2 in the previous eight encounters in Detroit. I know it might sound ridiculous, but give me the Red Wings at the money line odds.

  • Detroit Red Wings +160 over Nashville Predators

  • Milwaukee Bucks vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Karl-Anthony Towns will miss one more clash due to a suspension. Without KAT, the Timberwolves defeated Washington 131-109 on the road. However, the Bucks are a much better team than the Wizards, and I think the Timberwolves will miss Towns a lot tonight.

The Bucks’ defense should be too much for the T-Wolves who will miss their best player and top scorer. On the other side, Giannis Antetokounmpo averages 26.7 points on 58.8% shooting from the field, and I don’t see who will stop him at Target Center.

Milwaukee is tallying 111.3 points per 100 possessions (4th in the NBA). Both teams like to play at a fast pace which is another reason for me to take the Bucks here. Minnesota’s pace is the 2nd-fastest in the NBA, and you need to slow down the Bucks if you want to beat them.

Last year, the Bucks dropped 125 points on the T-Wolves in Minnesota and 140 points in Milwaukee. Also, the Bucks are 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS in their last ten meetings with the Timberwolves. Give me the visitors to cover.

  • Milwaukee Bucks -6.0 at -110
