  • Houston Astros vs. New York Yankees

After a rainout last night, the Yankees will try to even the AL Championship Series in front of the home fans. Both teams wanted to use their bullpen on Wednesday, but we’ll see a couple of aces on the mound tonight.

Zack Greinke will get the starting nod for the Astros, while the Yankees will counter with Masahiro Tanaka. These two guys started in Game 1 that the Yankees won 7-0 at Minute Maid Park in Houston.

Greinke is struggling this postseason, losing both his starts. He’s allowed 12 hits and nine earned runs in 9.2 innings of work. On the other side, Tanaka has recorded a couple of wins, allowing only four hits and a run in 11 innings of work.

Tanaka has been terrific when the Yankees needed him the most. I expect to see another strong performance by the Japanese, while the Yankees’ bats will be keen to make Greinke’s life miserable. Hereof, I’m taking the Yanks to beat the Astros tonight.

  • New York Yankees -125 over Houston Astros

FREE NHL BETTING PICK OF THE DAY

  • New York Rangers vs. New Jersey Devils

The Devils are the only winless team in the NHL. They are coming off a 6-4 home loss to the Panthers, blowing a three-goal lead. Still, there’s no better way to record the first victory of the season than to beat the New York Rangers.

After six straight losses, I think the Devils will finally grab a victory. They are 5-4 in the last nine meetings with the Rangers and 6-2 in the previous eight encounters in New Jersey. Also, the Rangers are not the road warriors, losing nine of their previous 13 showings away from home.

The Rangers are 2-1-0 on the season. They are coming off a 4-1 loss to the Oilers. The Rangers are allowing 35.3 shots per outing which are the most in the league. That’s why I think the Devils have a good chance to finally put an end to their skid.

  • New Jersey Devils -120 over New York Rangers

FREE NFL BETTING PICK OF THE DAY

  • Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos

The Chiefs are trying to avoid their third straight loss, while the Broncos are looking for their third straight win. In Patrick Mahomes’ era, the Chiefs have never lost three times in a row, and I think this trend will continue.

Although the Chiefs have been struggling defensively, the Broncos have some serious offensive issues. Denver is scoring only 17.7 points per game (26th in the NFL), and their solid defense won’t be enough to beat the Chiefs.

Kansas City is scoring 28.7 points per game on 422.0 total yards. The Chiefs are 9-3 SU and 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 games on the road, while the Broncos are 2-8 SU and 3-7 ATS in their last ten games overall.

Likewise, the Chiefs have been dominating the Broncos lately, winning in seven straight encounters while covering six times in that span. Also, the Chiefs are 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS in their previous five matchups with the Broncos at Mile High Stadium.

  • Kansas City Chiefs -3.0 at -110

  • Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns vs. Arkansas State Red Wolves

The Ragin’ Cajuns snapped their four-game winning streak last week, losing to Appalachian State 17-7. Now, they will try to bounce back, visiting the Red Wolves who are coming off a 52-38 defeat at Georgia State.

The Red Wolves’ defense has been terrible this season. They are allowing 38.7 points per game (124th in the country) on 537.3 total yards (129th). Hereof, I expect the Ragin’ Cajuns’ offense to dominate the Red Wolves, especially on the ground.

The Ragin’ Cajuns are tallying 38.2 points per game (19th). Their ground game is racking up 282.2 yards per contest which are the sixth-most in the nation. Also, the Ragin’ Cajuns are 7-4 SU and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 meetings with the Red Wolves, so I’m backing the visitors to cover.

  • Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns -6.5 at -110
