FREE NFL BETTING PICK OF THE DAY

  • Washington Redskins vs. Minnesota Vikings

The Redskins take on the Vikings in the NFC showdown at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. While the Redskins are coming off a 9-0 loss to San Francisco, the Vikings won at Detroit 42-30 in Week 7.

The Vikings are 5-2 SU and ATS in their last seven meetings with the Redskins, and the over is 6-1 in that span. Also, the Vikings are 3-1 SU and ATS in their last four home matchups with the Redskins, and the over is 3-1 in that stretch.

The Redskins lost six of their seven games this season, covering on two occasions. They are 6-8 ATS in the last 14 outings on the road, while the Vikings are 12-4-1 ATS in their last 17 home games against the teams with a losing record.

The Vikings are playing in a good form. They are scoring 36.0 points per game over the last three outings, while their ground game is the 3rd-best in the NFL with 160.0 yards per game. Also, Kirk Cousins has tossed for eight touchdowns in the last two games. Take the hosts and points.

  • Minnesota Vikings -16.0 at -110

FREE CFB BETTING PICK OF THE DAY

  • SMU Mustangs vs. Houston Cougars

The Mustangs are undefeated through eight weeks, recording seven wins and covering six times. The over has hit in each of their seven outings. On the other side, the Cougars are 3-4 SU and ATS on the season, coming off a 24-16 win at UConn with their third-string QB under center.

The Cougars are playing without their starting QB D’Eriq King who decided to redshirt the rest of the season. His backup, Clayton Tune, is struggling with a hamstring injury, but he’s listed as probable for tonight’s clash.

Houston is scoring 30.9 points per game (53rd in the CFB), but without King, they will have a mountain to climb against the Mustangs. King had 55 carries for 312 yards and six touchdowns in just four outings this season. On the other side of the ball, the Cougars are allowing 30.7 points per contest (95th).

Their defense will be in big trouble against the Mustangs whose offense is tallying 44.3 points per game (6th) on 521.1 total yards (7th). SMU will be keen to stay on the winning path, looking to clinch their spot in a marquee bowl, so I’m backing the Mustangs to cover.

  • SMU Mustangs -14.0 at -110

FREE NHL BETTING PICK OF THE DAY

  • Florida Panthers vs. Calgary Flames

The Calgary Flames (5-5-1) are playing in a shaky form, winning four of their last eight contests. Also, they are 3-2 at home this season, coming off a 5-3 loss to the Washington Capitals. On the other side, the Florida Panthers (4-2-3) have won three of their last four games and are 2-3 on the road this term.

The Panthers are tallying 3.22 goals per game (10th in the NHL), allowing 3.44 in a return (23rd). The Flames are scoring 2.55 goals per contest (22nd), surrendering 2.91 in a return (14th).

Calgary defeated Florida in three of their last four meetings in Canada. Also, the Flames are 8-4 in their last 12 encounters with the Panthers. Hereof, I’m backing the Flames to grab a victory in this one.

  • Calgary Flames -130 over Florida Panthers

FREE NBA BETTING PICK OF THE DAY

  • Milwaukee Bucks vs. Houston Rockets

There are a couple of very interesting matchups in the NBA Thursday night. While the Clippers visit the Warriors, the Rockets host the Bucks. Both games will be a joy to watch, but wagering on these contests looks like a tough job.

Still, the clash at Toyota Center should go in the under. The line has been set pretty high at 231.5 points, considering it is the opening game for both Milwaukee and Houston. Despite all offensive weapons on both sides, each of these two teams played good defense last season.

The under has hit in the previous three meetings between Milwaukee and Houston. Likewise, three of the last four head-to-head duels at Toyota Center went in the under. Eight of Houston’s last 12 games and five of Milwaukee’s previous eight contests were finished in the under.

  • Under 231.5 points at -110

FREE MLS BETTING PICK OF THE DAY

  • LA Galaxy vs. Los Angeles FC

We will see the battle for Los Angeles in the Western Conference semifinals. While Los Angeles FC was on a bye in the first round, the LA Galaxy outlasted Minnesota United 2-1 on the road. This will be the sixth edition of El Trafico, and the Galaxy has won two of the previous five along with three draws.

The Galaxy defeated LAFC 3-2 at home stadium in their first meetings of this past regular season. Their second duel at Banc of California Stadium was finished in a 3-3 draw.

Although Los Angeles FC is a strong fave to reach the conference finals, I would avoid taking the side bet. Instead, I’m backing the over 3.5 goals, expecting to see another firecracker. Four of five meetings between these two teams produced four or more goals in the total.

Likewise, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will lead the way for the Galaxy, and he’s scored 30 goals in 2019. On the other side, Carlos Vela has bagged 34 goals along with 15 assists for LAFC.

  • Over 3.5 Goals at -130
