  • San Francisco 49ers vs. Arizona Cardinals

The 49ers are still undefeated through eight weeks, looking to stay on the winning path when they visit the 3-4-1 Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West showdown. Interestingly, the 49ers lost eight straight encounters with the Cardinals. However, they are double-digit favorites in this one.

The Niners are coming off a terrific 51-13 victory to Carolina in Week 8. They continue to dominate their rivals on the defensive end. The Niners are 2nd in the NFL in points allowed per game (11.0) and 1st in total yards allowed per outing (224.4).

On the other side, the Cardinals put an end to their three-game winning streak with a 31-9 loss at New Orleans. They continue to struggle defensively, allowing 27.9 points per game (29th in the NFL) on 407.1 total yards (also 29th).

Likewise, the Cardinals’ run defense is surrendering 130.1 yards per contest (25th) and will be in big trouble against the Niners’ ground game. San Francisco is 2nd in the NFL with 181.1 rushing yards per game and 1st with 13 rushing touchdowns.

Arizona will be without RB Chase Edmonds, while RB David Johnson is listed as questionable. I don’t see how the Cardinals will damage the 49ers’ stout defense, while the visitors will exploit all Arizona’s defensive flaws. Give me the 49ers and points.

  • San Francisco 49ers -10.0 at -110

FREE NHL BETTING PICK OF THE DAY

  • Montreal Canadiens vs. Vegas Golden Knights

The Canadiens (6-4-2) easily outlasted the Coyotes 4-1 on the road last night. It was their second straight victory, while the Canadiens are 3-3 away from home this season. On the other side, the Golden Knights (8-5-0) are coming off a 5-2 win to the Ducks this past Sunday.

It was the Golden Knights’ fourth win over the last six outings. They are 4-3 at home this season. The Golden Knights had four days to rest and prepare for this clash which could be a decisive factor.

The Canadiens suffered four straight losses on the back end of their previous four back-to-back sets. Likewise, they are 6-14 in those situations. That’s why I’m backing the hosts to win, and I would settle down with the money line odds. Vegas couldn’t cover in two of its last four wins.

  • Vegas Golden Knights -195 over Montreal Canadiens

  • San Antonio Spurs vs. Los Angeles Clippers

The Spurs will have a tall task to stay unbeaten after tonight’s clash at Staples Center. They are 0-3 ATS on the season which makes me worry, but I’m still backing the Clippers (3-2; 2-3 ATS) to cover.

The Clippers lost at Utah 110-96 last night, playing without Kawhi Leonard who got a day off to rest. The Claw will be fresh and ready to dominate his former team, and the Clippers will be keen to bounce back.

The Spurs will hit the road for the first time this season. They’ve outlasted New York 120-111, Washington 124-122, and Portland 113-110 thus far. The Spurs are 3-5 SU and 4-4 ATS in their last eight games on the road.

The Clippers are 5-2 SU and 3-4 ATS in their last seven home matchups with the Spurs. They won both home games this season, outlasting the Lakers 112-102 and Hornets 111-96. The Clippers’ offensive rating is the best in the NBA by far, as they are scoring 118.8 points per 100 possessions.

  • Los Angeles Clippers -5.0 at -110

FREE CFB BETTING PICK OF THE DAY

  • Georgia Southern Eagles vs. Appalachian State Mountaineers

The Mountaineers (7-0; 5-2 ATS) are enjoying another wonderful season. They are scoring 41.0 points per game (9th in the CFB) while surrendering 19.0 in a return (19th). Last week, Appy State thrashed off South Alabama 30-3 on the road.

On the other side, the Eagles are on a three-game winning streak following a 41-7 victory to New Mexico State. They are tallying 25.1 points per contest (91st), surrendering 28.0 in a return (69th).

However, the Eagles will have a mountain to climb in this one, considering their one-dimensional offense. They are tallying only 48.7 passing yards per game which are completely ridiculous.

The Mountaineers’ run defense is 45th in College Football, allowing 140.1 yards per outing. Hereof, give me the hosts and points. Appy State is 3-1 SU and ATS in its last four meetings with Georgia Southern.

  • Appalachian State Mountaineers -15.0 at -110
