Friday night brings four College Football games around the country which seems like a perfect opportunity to lay the odds. With a small market, you cannot overthink or take the bust among plenty of winning picks. Hereof, let’s see what’s the best College Football bets for this Friday.

The action starts at Rice Stadium in Houston, Texas, where the Rice Owls welcome the Wake Forest Demon Deacons as 19-point underdogs. Rice lost at Army 14-7 in Week 1, while Wake Forest barely outlasted Utah State 38-35 at home.

These two schools met each other last year, and Wake Forest beat Rice 56-24 as a 28-point home fave. The Demon Deacons’ offense looked good in 2018, and they want to improve this season. Considering Week 1 performance, they are on the right path. On the other side, Rice showed plenty of offensive flaws against Army.

Wake Forest is 13-6 ATS in its last 19 outings on the road and 6-2-1 ATS in the previous nine versus the team with a losing record. On the other hand, Rice is 4-0 ATS in its last four contests overall and the previous four versus the team with a winning record.

The Demon Deacons should easily win this game, but a 19-point spread could be too much on the road. Therefore, I suggest you take a 7-point teaser and get Wake Forest at 12 points. Of course, you will need one more game, and I suggest Boise State over Marshal.

Virginia hosts William & Mary Tribe as a 34.5-points fave, while Arizona State is a 36-point favorite against Sacramento State. Hereof, there’s no reason to tease those massive favorites, and we’ve already talked about it.

On the other side, Boise State is a 12-point fave to beat Marshall. Likewise, this could be a thrilling battle decided by a touchdown, so it seems reasonable to tease the Broncos to five points.

Betting Picks

Marshall opened with a convincing 56-17 victory to the VMI Keydets. The Thundering Herd’s offense put on a show, while Isaiah Green tossed for 238 yards and four touchdowns. However, VMI is not a proper benchmark, and Marshall will have a much taller task against the Broncos.

Boise State overcame an 18-point deficit to beat Florida State 36-31 on the road. Hank Bachmeier threw for 407 yards and a TD, while Robert Mahone tallied 142 rushing yards and two touchdowns. If they replicate this offensive performance, the Broncos should beat Marshall by six or more points.

The Broncos are 6-4 ATS in their last ten games at home and 4-1 ATS in the last five overall. The Thundering Herd are 1-4 ATS in their last five contests overall and 2-4 ATS in the previous six on the road. Also, Marshall is 1-4 ATS in its last five non-conference games.

The hosts’ defense will be a key factor for those who take them to cover. Marshall has offensive weapons that could make some damage, so I think teasing the Broncos along with the Demon Deacons is the best choice for Friday night.
