Although the reigning champions Clemson Tigers and No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide are both on a bye, Week 6 of the 2019 College Football season brings plenty of excitement on Saturday. Therefore, we’ve prepared the hottest betting trends out there along with all-important betting notes.

ATS Trending

The Wisconsin Badgers are coming off a bye, while they are 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS on the season. Now, the Badgers welcome the Kent State Golden Flashes who are 2-2 SU and ATS on the season. The hosts are set as 35-point favorites, and the Badgers are 4-6 ATS in their last ten home games when listed as favorites of 30 points or more.

However, the Golden Flashes are 1-5 ATS when listed as underdogs of 30 points or more. Also, Kent State is 2-4 ATS in its last six outings on the road. Their defense is surrendering 32.0 points per game (107th in the country). The Badgers’ D is the best in the nation, allowing 7.2 points on 196.5 total yards per game.

The Memphis Tigers are undefeated in four outings in 2019, covering three times in the process. They visit the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks who are 2-2 SU and 1-3 ATS on the season. The Tigers are 7-3 ATS in their last ten games overall and 4-1 ATS in the previous five in October.

Furthermore, Memphis is 5-1 ATS in its last six games played in Week 6. The Warhawks are just 1-5 ATS in their last six contests overall, 1-7 ATS in the last eight at home, and 2-10 ATS in their previous 12 showings in October.

The Big 10 showdown from Memorial Stadium in Lincoln will see the Northwestern Wildcats going against the Nebraska Cornhuskers who are listed as 7.5-point home favorites. Northwestern is coming off a 24-15 loss at Wisconsin, covering the spread for the first time this season.

However, the Wildcats are 5-3 ATS in their last eight meetings with Nebraska and 9-2 in their previous 11 showings on the road. Likewise, they are 15-2 ATS in the last 17 road encounters with their division rivals.

On the other side, the Cornhuskers are 3-7 ATS in their last ten home matchups with Big 10. They are 1-4 ATS in the last five games overall and 4-13 ATS in the previous 17 outings at home. Also, the Cornhuskers are 3-6-1 ATS in their last ten home games when listed as favorites of seven or fewer points.

Over/Under Trending

The TCU Horned Frogs are well-known for their stout defense under the head coach Gary Patterson. They are allowing 18.8 points per game this season (tied-28th in the country) on just 246.0 total yards (4th). They visit the Iowa State Cyclones as 3.5-point dogs in Week 6, while the total has been set at 44.0 points.

The under is 8-2 in TCU’s last ten outings on the road, and it is 13-6-1 in Iowa State’s previous 20 outings at home. Furthermore, the total has gone under in the last six encounters between TCU and Iowa State and four of the Cyclones’ previous five meetings with the Big 12 conference.

One of the most interesting games of the week will see No. 14 Iowa Hawkeyes taking on No. 19 Michigan Wolverines. The Hawkeyes are listed as 4-point road dogs with a total at 47.5 points.

The over is 7-1 in Iowa’s last eight games on the road, 10-5 in the last 15 games overall, and 8-3 in the previous 11 encounters with the Big 10 conference. On the other side, the over is 5-1 in Michigan’s last six contests, while three of the previous four H2H duels in Michigan went in the over.

The USF Bulls visit the UConn Huskies, and the Bulls’ last three outings on the road went in the under. Likewise, the under is 5-2 in the last seven H2H matchups in Connecticut and 8-4 in the last 12 H2H duels overall. It is 4-1 in Huskies’ last five games overall and 5-1 in their last six outings at home.

Although five of the Virginia Tech Hokies’ last seven games went in the over, the under has hit in four of their last five meetings with the Miami-FL Hurricanes. Also, the total has gone under in seven of the previous eight H2H meetings in Florida.

The under is 9-2 in Hurricanes’ previous 11 outings, and it is 6-1 in their last seven meetings with the Atlantic Coast. Miami-FL is allowing 16.0 points per game (18th) on 270.0 total yards (13th).
