Week 4 of the College Football season brings plenty of interesting games Saturday, September 21, 2019. The top contenders continue with their battle to stay undefeated, so check out all-important betting trends and notes for the most intriguing matchups of the day.

The Alabama Crimson Tide is looking for their fourth win on the season. They are listed as 38.5-point home favorites to beat the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. The visitors won two of their three contests this season, and the over is 2-1 in that span.

The total has gone over in five of the Golden Eagles’ last seven games and four of their previous five outings on the road. Likewise, the over is 6-2 in Alabama’s last eight contests and 9-1 in its previous ten outings in September. Six of the Tide’s previous eight home games were finished in the over.

The Tennessee Volunteers travel to Florida as 14-point dogs against the Gators. The over is 7-2 in the last nine meetings between Tennessee and Florida, and it is 3-1 in the previous four head-to-head duels at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

The over has hit in seven of the Volunteers’ last eight contests played in Week 4. Eight the Gators’ last 11 games overall were finished in the over, as well as five of their previous six meetings with the SEC rivals.

The California Golden Bears look to extend their winning streak to four games when they visit the Ole Miss Rebels as 2.5-point dogs. The under is 11-1 in Golden Bears’ last 12 outings including their last five matchups overall.

Likewise, the under has hit in California’s last eight showings on the road. The under is 5-1 in the Rebels’ last six games overall, and it is 5-0 in their previous five contests played in Week 4.

The Iowa State Cyclones host the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks as 18.5-point favorites. The total has gone under in 12 of the Cyclones’ last 18 games and six of their previous seven outings in September. The under is 4-1 in the Warhawks last five games overall and 9-2 in their last 11 showings on the road.

The UTSA Roadrunners are 19-point underdogs at the North Texas Mean Green. The under is 4-1 in UTSA’s last five contests and 7-4 in its last 11 games on the road. Likewise, the under is 11-4 in North Texas’ last 15 games, and it is 5-1 in the previous six H2H matchups between these two schools.

ATS Trending

The Michigan Wolverines will face off against the Wisconsin Badgers in one of the most interesting matchups of Week 4. The Badgers opened as 3.5-point home favorites and are 4-1 ATS in their last five games. Also, they are 5-0 ATS in the last five home encounters with Michigan.

The Wolverines are 9-2-1 ATS in their previous 12 meetings with the Wolverines. The visitors are 0-6 ATS in their last six contests overall and 1-5 ATS in the previous five showings on the road.

Coastal Carolina Chanticleers visit the Massachusetts Minutemen as 16.5-points favorites. The Chanticleers are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 outings on the road. They defeated the Minutemen twice over the last two seasons, covering the spread on both occasions.

On the other side, Massachusetts is 1-4 ATS in its last five outings at home and 4-10 ATS in its previous 14 games overall. The Minutemen are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games played in September.

The Auburn Tigers visit the Texas A&M Aggies as 3.5-point dogs. The Tigers are 5-1 ATS in their last six outings but only 1-3-1 ATS in their previous five showings away from home. The Aggies are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall and 9-1 ATS in the previous ten home contests.  

The San Jose State Spartans will try to avoid their second straight loss. Still, they are 20.5-point road dogs at the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Spartans are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games in September and 1-11 ATS in the previous 12 outings on the road in September. Arkansas is 5-2 ATS in its last five tilts at home.
