The 2019 College Football season continues Saturday with plenty of interesting games, as well as Major League Baseball where all 30 teams will take the field today. However, we want to take a closer look at Major League Soccer. There are a few games that could bring some nice wages.

The action starts at Yankee Stadium where the New York City hosts the New England Revolution. Although the betting trends are suggesting the upset, I think the hosts will win this clash. You can find all the trends and analysis here.

Elsewhere, Toronto and Los Angeles FC are both listed as strong favorites to win on the road. Portland is a -130 fave to beat Sporting Kansas City at home, while the bookies expect a thrilling battle between the Colorado Rapids and Seattle Sounders.

Betting Tips

Cincinnati is winless in eight straight outings, recording seven losses and a draw in the process. Seven of those eight games saw both teams scoring and three or more goals in the total. Toronto is undefeated in six straight contests, tallying three wins in that span. In their first meeting of the season, Toronto defeated Cincinnati 2-1.

Los Angeles FC is still the best team in the league. They are coming off a 2-0 loss to Minnesota, while Orlando City suffered two defeats in a row without scoring a single goal. Interestingly, Orlando’s last six home games saw two or fewer goals on the scoreboard, while six of Los Angeles FC’s previous nine games went in the over.

The Colorado Rapids have the worst defense in the Western Conference which promises a high-scoring affair Saturday night. On the other side, Seattle bagged 11 goals in its last five games overall. Six of the last seven H2H matchups in Colorado saw both teams scoring and three or more goals on the scoreboard.

Finally, the clash between Portland and Kansas City seems like the toughest one to predict the outcome. The last two H2H duels in Portland were finished in a goalless draw. Portland won four of its last six games at home, while Kansas City is without a draw in seven consecutive showings on the road.

This season, we saw 3.05 goals per game in the MLS, while 58% of all games had at least three goals in the total. Also, 36% had four or more goals in the total. The home team won 53% of all contests, and 2-1 is the second-most common outcome.

Keep these stats in mind when you are wagering on the MLS tonight. Cincinnati and Orlando City will have a mountain to climb at home, but New York City and Portland both look like hot picks in front of the home fans.

When it comes to the clash in Colorado, I would stick with the totals. Taking both teams to find the net in the combination with the over 2.5 goals seems like a reasonable choice. Five of Seattle’s last six games produced three or more goals in the total, and I’ve mentioned how poor Colorado’s defense is.

Likewise, take a two or three-game parlay into consideration. If you want the odds around +450, go with a three-game parlay and take New York City and Portland to win along with BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals on the Colorado Rapids. If I have to choose a sure shot besides New York City, it would be over 2.5 goals on Colorado versus Seattle at -190 odds.
