The Predators have won three of their previous four encounters with the Golden Knights. However, in their previous duel, the Golden Knights thrashed off the Predators 5-1 at T-Mobile Arena. The under has hit in four of the last five meetings between these two foes.
The Golden Knights have won four of their six games this season. They are coming off a couple of impressive victories over Calgary 6-2 at home and Los Angeles 5-2 on the road. The Golden Knights lost one game at home this term, and it was against the reigning vice-champs Boston Bruins 4-3.
On the other side, the Predators are coming off a tough 7-4 loss at Los Angeles which was their first outing on the road this season. They are the most efficient team in the NHL at the moment with 4.60 goals scored per game. Also, all their five contests went in the over, while Nashville is 3-2 on the season.
There is another intriguing Western Conference showdown on Tuesday night, as the Winnipeg Jets welcome the Arizona Coyotes. The Jets have dominated the Coyotes over the last few years. They are 15-4 in the last 19 meetings with the Coyotes and 10-0 in the previous ten encounters in Winnipeg.
The Coyotes are 1-2-1 on the season. They are the most inefficient team in the league with 1.75 goals scored per game. The Coyotes lost seven of their last eight games on the road and five of their previous six road matchups with the Central Division.
The Jets are 4-3 on the season, coming off a tough 7-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins. They will search for redemption in front of the home fans where the Jets lost seven of their last eight outings. Likewise, the Jets lost eight of their last 12 home meetings with the Western Conference.
