- Detroit Tigers +156 vs. Atlanta Braves -164
The Tigers (21-32) will take on the Braves (30-26) to open a three-game interleague series at SunTrust Park in Atlanta. These two foes meet each other for the first time since 2016 when the Braves won a three-game series 2-1 at home. Detroit is coming off a 2-1 series victory at Baltimore, but the Tigers are playing in a poor form, losing 12 of its last 15 games overall. Also, the Tigers have won just two of their last 14 road encounters with the National League. On the other side, the Braves are coming off a tough 14-4 defeat to the Nationals Wednesday night which was their third loss over the last four outings. Still, the Braves have won 12 of their last 18 games overall and are sitting at the 2nd spot of the NL East table 3.5 games behind the Phillies.
Spencer Turnbull will get the starting nod for the Tigers, while the Braves will counter with Mike Foltynewicz. Turnbull is 2-4 in 11 starts this season with a 2.97 ERA and a 1.29 WHIP, and the right-hander is 2-6 in 14 starts in his career, while the Tigers are 0-3 in his previous three starts. On the other side, Mike Foltynewicz is coming off his first victory of the season, pitching six innings in a 5-2 win at the Cardinals six days ago. The right-hander is 1-3 in six starts this season with a 5.67 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP and 7-3 in his 12 starts in inter-league matchups. Folty is slowly building up his form, and I expect another solid performance from a one-time All-Star against the Tigers who are 17-26 against the right-handed starting pitcher this term.
The Braves are playing in a better form than the Tigers who barely overcame the hapless Orioles, so I expect the hosts to dominate the opening game of the series. Take the Braves at the run line, as eight of their last nine wins at home have come by two or more runs.
- Atlanta Braves +120 over Detroit Tigers by two or more runs

- Toronto FC +179 at Vancouver Whitecaps +159
FC Toronto got off to a good start of the season, but the Reds have slowed down lately. They are winless in five straight games, recording four losses and a draw in that span while failing to score on three occasions. On the other side, the Whitecaps have recorded a couple of wins and losses over their last five outings along with a tie, finding the net in four of those five encounters.
Both teams have kept their net intact just once in their last five showings and are pretty fragile at the back, so we should see some goals on this one. Six of the previous eight head-to-head duels saw both teams scoring and three or more goals in the total, and I expect to see a similar scenario tonight.
- Both Teams to Score YES & Over 2.5 Goals at +100
