New York Giants vs New England Patriots

New York Giants (2-9) at New England Patriots (6-6) Week 13 · December 1, 2025 · 8:15 PM ET Gillette Stadium · Foxborough, MA · ABC/ESPN

The Storylines

  1. Drake Maye’s Homecoming Moment The former UNC star and 2024 3rd-overall pick makes his first career Monday Night start in front of the New England faithful. Maye has gone 6-4 as a starter this year and is riding a streak of five straight games with 260+ passing yards and multiple TDs. He’s also the first Patriots QB since 2001 to rush for 400+ yards in his rookie season.
  2. Malik Nabers vs. the League’s No. 1 Rookie Receiver Defense Nabers (74-1,023-7 in 11 games) is the only rookie in NFL history with 1,000+ receiving yards through 12 weeks. Tonight he faces Christian Gonzalez and the Patriots secondary that has allowed the fewest 20+ yard completions (28) in the league.
  3. Giants in Full Fire-Sale Mode After trading away Dexter Lawrence, Azeez Ojulari (now questionable), and Adoree’ Jackson at the deadline, New York is starting three rookies and two second-year players on defense. They’ve allowed 32.4 PPG over the last five weeks — worst in football.
