SITPicks.com 9 sports betting picks 9 Parlay Play of the day July 21 2021

Today’s Parlay Play of the day comes courtesy of Doug and the Rundown. If you made money betting on the Milwaukee Bucks last night with our picks then get ready to parlay that up and make more money tonight.

First Leg – 8:15 p.m. ET

Time for a good ol’ fashioned double double down. We’ll start with the Cubs, who have caught all the line movement in their matchup with the Cardinals and should at least keep it close if Hendricks performs how we think he will.

We’ll take Spain to win for the second leg. Because let’s face it: Egypt really doesn’t stand much of a chance against that immense talent.

Pick: Cubs +1.5 and Spain Moneyline Parlay (-123)*

Prop

San Francisco Giants @ Los Angeles Dodgers – 10:10 p.m. ET

For as good as the Dodgers have been this season, they strike out a lot — 857 times, to be exact, the 12th-most in the league. Enter Logan Webb, who has been a pleasant surprise on the mound for the Giants. The 24-year-old shows a solid 9.6 K/9 and has a very low strikeout prop number to overcome tonight. He should get over it with relative ease.

Pick: Logan Webb Over 3.5 Strikeouts (-140)*

Bold Bet

Men’s Olympic Soccer – Mexico vs. France – Thursday, 4:00 a.m. ET

Mexico’s men’s team has a history of performing well at the Olympics, winning gold in 2012. El Tri has some promising young talent and veteran leadership in the form of goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa. They could make things very uncomfortable for, and possibly even pull off the upset against, a French team that is less talented than you’d think.

Pick: Mexico Draw No Bet (+210)*
Degenerate Corner

Congratulations to the Milwaukee Bucks and their fans (especially my Wisconsin friends, I see you guys). Between this postseaon’s PRAs, first-half totals, live wagers, and spreads, I’ve enjoyed all the intricacies of basketball betting more than any other year. But enough sentimentality. It’s never too soon to look at next season, even the day after the Finals conclude: The Nets opened as +200* favorites to win the 2022 Finals, followed by the Lakers at +525*, and the Bucks at +900*. The oddsmakers clearly know what they’re doing, but at this point, we believe Giannis can do whatever he wants. 9-1 anyone?

Your Turn: The total for tonight’s Cubs-Cardinals game is set at 8. Tell us whether the game goes over or under and what the exact final score will be. The correct answer with the closest margin gets a shoutout next newsletter.

Shoutout: For the last time this NBA season, we asked you to give us the winner and exact score in Game 6. We got several correct responses on Milwaukee, but Bucks fan Nick Levin (@nick_levin) had the closest margin of victory, predicting a 16-point difference when the actual margin was seven. Congratulations, Nick!
