It’s a similar case with the Nationals at the Padres, the White Sox at the Royals, the D-backs at the Blue Jays, the Reds at the Phillies, and the Mariners at the Angels.

The Braves visit the Marlins who are playing in solid form at the moment, so -160 odds on Atlanta are not tempting at all. Miami has won 13 of its last 19 games overall. On the other hand, the Braves will start Mike Soroka, and the right-hander is 6-1 in nine starts this term with a 1.41 ERA and a 0.91 WHIP.

The Twins are listed as -127 road favorites at the Tigers which is a nice offer. Prior to their Thursday’s matchup with the Indians, the Twins had a 40-20 record, winning 15 of their previous 20 contests overall and 12 of their last 16 outings on the road. Also, the Twins won nine of their last 12 meetings with the Tigers and ten of the previous 14 H2H duels at Comerica Park.

The Tigers lost 15 of their last 20 games overall and 12 of their previous 13 showings at home. They will start Matthew Boyd who’s 5-4 in 13 starts this season with a 3.01 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP, and the Tigers are 1-4 in his previous five starts. The Twins will counter with Kyle Gibson who’s 6-2 in 11 starts this term with a 3.75 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP, and Minnesota is 4-1 in his last five starts.

The Athletics will take on the Rangers, and the over has hit in four of five H2H duels this season. Also, the over is 11-4 in the previous 15 H2H matchups. The Rangers are second in the league in runs per game (5.69), while their pitching staff is 24th with a 4.93 ERA. The A’s are averaging 4.89 runs per game, allowing 4.24 in a return, so go with the over.

Elsewhere, the Astros welcome the Orioles as -330 favorites and shouldn’t have any problems to win by two or more runs. The Orioles are allowing 6.10 runs per outings and will have a mountain to climb against the Astros’ bats. Houston has the second-best batting average in baseball (.271).

The Dodgers are -217 favorites at the Giants and will start Clayton Kershaw who’s 5-0 in nine starts this season, while the Dodgers are unbeaten in that nine-game span. Kershaw is 22-10 in his 44 starts against the Giants, and the Dodgers won 12 of his previous 16 starts versus San Francisco. The odds are not attractive, but the Dodgers should win this game.

The Brewers with Brandon Woodruff on the mound are listed as massive -230 favorites against the Pirates at home. Woodruff has a 3.82 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP, and he’s undefeated in seven straight games. Rookie Davis will get his first starting nod of the season for the Pirates, so consider taking the Brewers to cover the spread at -122 odds.

If you’re looking for the potential upset, keep eyes on the Colorado Rockies who are listed as +170 underdogs at the New York Mets. The Rockies won the last four H2H duels at Citi Field and are 15-5 in their last 20 meetings with the Mets.

Colorado is playing in a good form, winning nine of its last 11 outings, while the Mets dropped five of their previous eight contests overall. Antonio Senzatela (4-4; 5.33 ERA) will get the ball for the Rockies who won five of Senzatela’s last eight starts. The Mets will counter with Jacob deGrom (3-5; 3.49 ERA), and the Mets lost eight of deGrom’s previous ten starts.
