SITPicks.com 9 News 9 Upicktrade.com Review After Canceled Las Vegas Golden Knights Deal

It was a quick run up and a quick run down as the sports betting tout service nobody ever heard of out of Guadalajara, Mexico. With an announcement that came last week that the Las Vegas Golden Knights had signed a deal to give banners around the hockey rink and a daily pick for the fans attending games it seemed as if this was an idea that not a single person on Twitter applauded.

So what happened? The app which didn’t have a single review shown in the Apple iTunes store was said to have 5,000 clients who pay $89 a month per sport that they want to receive picks and predictions from. The deal felt a bit suspicious especially since the worlds biggest sports bettors Billy Walter, Jon Price, Jim Fezzik, and Doc Sports had never ever heard of this app.

The NHL ultimately said that each team has a right to make their own decisions on who they partner with. The NHL and professional sports are in bed now with the sports betting community as Fan Duel and Draft kings have signed deals to work with the league but a sports betting advisory company brought up the question of ethics and if it’s right to give out picks betting against the home team they are sponsoring and what that meant for other potential sponsorship deals.

Ultimately the reviews of UpickTrade.com were negative enough that the deal was rescinded and the app never got off the ground with the NHL. So the Mexican tout and advisory service who paid millions to work with the Las Vegas Golden Knights is no more.
